LaSalle College Istanbul, a member of LCI Education Network, and Beykoz University Lifelong Learning Center have signed a cooperation agreement to advance Higher Education in Turkey. The two educational institutions will jointly offer long-term certificate programs in the fields of Interior Architecture, Fashion Design, and Fashion Marketing.
LCI Education CEO, Claude Marchand is pleased to work with Beykoz University in this mutually beneficial partnership. Beykoz University Rektor, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman, stated that the collaboration with LaSalle College, which was established in Canada over 60 years ago and has been operating in Istanbul since 1993, is an important opportunity for students to receive a world-class education. Durman said, ''We are starting three programs in cooperation with LaSalle College as of May 1, 2020. Our curriculum is jointly developed by Beykoz University and LaSalle College and our certificate programs will consist of 6 terms over 2 years.'' Indicating that students will receive a dual completion certificate at the end of these programs, Durman said, ''The language of instruction in our programs will be English. Thus, students who complete the programs will both receive a certificate from Beykoz University, and will also receive the internationally recognized diploma of LaSalle College, Montreal, Canada.'' Durman also said, ''Our cooperation with LaSalle College and the LCI Education Network offers exciting new opportunities for our students, including new programs offering.''
