The VFX for Film and Television Diploma program at LaSalle College Istanbul prepares students for employment in the post-production industry for film and television as VFX artists and technicians, as well as in the game and animation industries. Our students build a foundation of traditional artistic skill, a solid knowledge base in film and VFX theories and principles through hands-on training in multiple applications and tools, including compositing and digital film production techniques.

The program, given in English, consists of 6 terms and each term is 12 weeks. This education, which is followed for 3 years around the world, is completed in 2 years as our school continues in the spring terms. There are 11-week holidays in the Summer, and 1-week holidays between the terms.

Our students who successfully complete their education are entitled to receive the VFX for Film and TV Diploma sent by our headquarters in Canada. The graduates of this program are also given a certificate from Turkish based Beykoz University.

This program starts every October.

  • Each 3-month term of the program is comprised of cohesive courses which are designed to help students meet specific, industry driven skills and results. The curriculum is structured to facilitate portfolio outcomes culminating in the development of a professional “demo reel” and other marketing pieces.
  • As technology and software are constantly evolving, training is provided that is designed to prepare students to be diagnostic in their study, to problem solve and above all, develop work ethic and standards in accordance with their professional practice. Finally, the program is designed to teach students how to communicate ideas effectively, as well as how to work in a collaborative environment through a variety of team based projects.

The curriculum of LaSalle College Istanbul's VFX - Visual Effects for Film and Television program was developed in Vancouver according to Canadian educational standards. Graduates receive an International Diploma issued by our headquarters, Canada.

  • Professionalism through conceptualizing, planning, executing, and delivering quality VFX design projects that lead toward a self-promotion package.
